‘BAREFOOT AT A PIED-À-TERRE’
Embracing an ethos of natural simplicity, our project, ‘Barefoot at a Pied-à-terre,’ beckons a sense of ease and intimacy. Within the living room, our focus was on expanding the space, infusing it with light, and orchestrating a harmonious interplay of design elements. From lofty doors to impactful artworks and a sleek black lamp, every detail contributes to the room’s nuanced scale.
In the lounge, a minimalist, contemporary aura prevails with an ‘L’ shaped integration of track lights, matte white finishes to brighten darker corners, and smoky-glass kitchen cabinets that gleam and reflect natural light, imbuing the space with a luminous airiness.
A strategic divider maximizes space between entrance and open-plan kitchen, utilizing vertical lines to echo the soaring ceiling height effect throughout. This multifunctional space invites dining, unwinding, and chilling amidst distinctive furniture, blending organic forms into a chic, non-rigid composition.
Materials with rich textures echo the core concept, marrying luxury with a natural essence.
The primary bedroom boasts a two-tone rug, evoking classic charm, harmonizing gracefully with the darker tones of the wardrobe. Translucent dividers dissolve boundaries, creating an open, free-flowing ambiance. Breaking the barrier between the bathroom and bedroom, a sliding glass divider introduces a garden-like allure, visible from the bed—a testament to a modern, chic aesthetic coexisting with warmth and enveloping textures.
