CORAL & CABANA

Raw elegance is what we took from the stunning contemporary architecture of this beachside villa in Marbella, so we adorned it with organic textures and delicate materials, creating an interior that conjures up the feeling of a golden-hour afternoon by the beach. We paid tribute to the property’s natural surroundings – an oasis of greenery between sea and mountains.

Drama is added to the double-height ceiling of the lounge with a shoal of scrap lights that bring organic flair to the room. The modern wine cellar is given an authentic cavern feel through stone lining with a natural, irregular pattern, while the wood cladding is kept simple and light – a reflection of weathered driftwood.

The soft furnishings are delicate and refined, characterised by monochrome patterns, coral hues and tan accents. We handpicked art in the form of evocative photography and sculpted pieces to finish off the decoration. The knowing eye will also spot details inspired by beach chiringuitos and cabanas, such as the weave-like walls of the master bedroom—a natural reflection of this privileged setting by the sea.
